Internet marketing and ultimately company websites are here to stay...a modern, well designed website is now expected generally for most businesses and organisations. If you don't have one, you can guarantee your competitors will.

So what is a website and why should you have one? In the simplest terms it's a showcase for your products and services. A website can reflect your company's attitude and your professionalism. With a well designed website, your customers may remember you. With a poorly designed one you'll never see them again.

Web design stages

Stage 1: I first have a brief chat to get to know your company and your overall requirements.

Stage 2: I will then discuss more in depth about your exact requirements and objectives for your website. You may have strong design ideas yourself, or have definite views on what you like or dislike. This is the time to highlight these. It is often wise to create a rough plan of how many pages you may need, and possible content. At this stage, I will also ask you to compile your web content, company imagery, logos and copy text (the written content of your site) and forward it to me. The text must be unformatted and spell checked.

Stage 3: After I have received your collated resource I can then move onto the design stage. At regular intervals I will contact you and show you the progress of your bespoke site. At this fundamental stage we can make design amendments to tailor your site to exactly how you envisage. Each amendment can normally be completed either live (on-line) or within a day or two. This process is repeated until you are 100% satisfied with the design.

Stage 4: Nearing completion, I will ask you to continuously monitor my progress 'live'. I host a draft version of your site until it has been fully proofed and tested. This allows you to follow your site construction and then onto it's completion. Then and only then, after your final approval does your site go live....
